Two public sites. The Community College of Denver testing center is at 800 Curtis Street, Room 216, on the Auraria Campus downtown. International IT Solutions is at 4155 East Jewell Avenue, Suite 706. That is it for the city proper, so book early — most of the other Denver addresses you will find listed run free classes but do not administer the exam, and several are Department of Corrections or county jail programs that are not open to the public.
Seventeen, which is a year or two earlier than most states allow. There is no waiver, no school-district permission, and no parental sign-off needed at 17 — you simply register. A 16-year-old can test only with a GED Age Waiver approved by GED Testing Service, and if that 16-year-old tests online, a parent or guardian has to be present at the pre-test check-in to give consent.
Colorado charges $43.50 per subject, or $174 for all four — the same price at either Denver center or online from home. If you fail a subject, the discounted retake at a test center is $17.50, because GED Testing Service waives its own $26 fee for one retake per subject within 365 days. Online retakes get no discount and cost the full $43.50, so a borderline subject is cheaper to sit in person.

Colorado lets you take the test in English or Spanish and lets you combine the two languages across the four subjects, so math in Spanish and language arts in English is allowed if that is how you think. There is a neat symmetry here: CCD, MSU Denver and CU Denver all share the Auraria Campus, which is where you sit the exam in the first place.
