After that the next Washington option is a long way off — Walla Walla Community College's Clarkston campus, roughly 87 miles south. For most people in Spokane the practical answer is to test online from home instead.
The answer is no if you want a Washington credential, and Spokane is an unusually sharp case because the Idaho option is closer than the nearest alternative inside Washington. North Idaho College Adult Education in Coeur d'Alene is about 29 miles away, closer than Washington's own second site at Clarkston. But GED Testing Service issues the credential from the state where you pass your final subject, and Washington goes further: all test takers must be a resident of Washington State at the time of testing to be awarded the certificate here. Finish in Idaho and you hold an Idaho credential.

The two community colleges are the usual first stop — nursing, welding, aerospace manufacturing and IT certificates all open up once you hold the credential, and their credits transfer onward to Eastern.
